A Little Bit of Math

We love math at our house. For us, it is great fun to see how much each napkin would cost individually. Even our almost-two-year-old will call out TWOOOO....FIVE!! when you give her multiples of almost anything. So we now present to you our favorite calculation....the cost of diapers!

Average cost of a disposable diaper = .26

Baby uses 10 diapers per day for an average of 30 months (sometimes longer)= 10 diapers X 30 days= 300 diapers per month x 30 months = 9,000 diapers X .26 = $2,340.00.

Pull-ups and swim diapers cost even more, and the cost is going up!

Cost of diaper service = $19/week or $75/month

Baby uses as many diapers as you need for $75/month for an average of 26 months (cloth diapered babies potty train sooner) = $1,950 + 10 Wonder Wraps one-size-fits-all covers @ $18.95 ea.($189.50) = $2,139.50

So, not alot cheaper, but not more expensive. Your baby will be so comfy and cute in those wonderwraps! You won't contribute 9,000 diapers to a landfill where they will sit for 250 years. And no more terrible diaper rash! Best of all, you will never go to the store at midnight for diapers again!!!!

Have a great day!
